Nora Laine Herzog is a spoken word artist based out of Madison, Wisconsin. She was born in Boulder, Colorado but moved to Anchorage, Alaska when she was four.

After being introduced to Spoken Word Poetry in a literal elevator pitch, Nora began participating in the local slam series, coached by Trey "Freethought" Josey. While slamming throughout the 2013-2014 slam season, Nora began working on widening the impact of spoken word poetry in Alaska. As a project, Nora co-founded the West High School Spoken Word Club with spoken word artist Madelyn Taylor, where the two ran workshops and organized monthly slams, cumulating in an end-of-semester showcase. Nora later joined the spoken word based community leadership organization Diff3r3nt by D3sign. Under the leadership of Trey Josey, Nora learned how to teach workshops with a variety of focuses, and began hosting Teen Town Halls at the local library in order to fuel discussion on relevant issues among the young adults living in Anchorage.

Nora applied to the University of Wisconsin-Madison's First Wave Program and Urban Arts Initiative. She was admitted into the 9th cohort alongside thirteen other talented individuals. Nora is now in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Literature.
